- has been an active member of your parish for a minimum of two years?
- has a deepening understanding of priestly or diaconal ministry?

- demonstrates the ability to care for people, both individuals and in groups
- has high moral standards?
- has the support of your life partner/spouse, if applicable?
- has a good reputation in the community and in the parish?
- is willing to have a criminal record check done
- can demonstrate a mature spirituality and disciplined prayer life?
- has a good personal support system in place or a commitment to form one?
- is willing to commit some time to figure out God’s call to him or her?
- has the time, resources, and capacity necessary for the education and training requirements? (4 to 8 days a year for online classes)
- will have the time and resources necessary to carry ordained ministry part-time?
If this description fits, you may be ready to enter the Licentiate in Theology programme available through your diocese and Emmanuel and St. Chad Anglican College.
